Although not mandatory, if you feel that being an independent agent does not support your business needs, then we can discuss you joining my team. Team members have the added benefits of being first in line for lead opportunities, shared deals, paid showings, and special trainings. Team members are provided with a transaction coordinator to handle their compliance and contracts which takes 80% of the work off the team member’s plate from contract to close. Team members interested in dialing are provided a dialer and lists to call on (must commit to X calls per month). Most team members choose the option of a lower Cap when selecting which plan is right for them. There is also a semi-team member model available for out of state team members or agents who are not full time yet.
14. In-Person events
If I am your sponsor or team lead, you are invited to in-person events in the Greater Philadelphia region. These may be wellness events, educational events, networking happy hours, etc. If you are outside of this area, we still have meet ups at various conferences including EXPCON which is the major event of the year. These are on top of the many virtual events each week.

How to Become a Real Estate Agent in PA:
Here is a link to the Pennsylvania Department of State website, where you will find the requirements for licensure in Pennsylvania:
Pennsylvania Department of State- Real Estate Salesperson License.
To obtain a Pennsylvania real estate salesperson license, you will need to meet several qualifications:
You must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
You must pass a criminal background check.
You must take and pass two courses (Real Estate Practice and Real Estate Fundamentals).
You must apply for, take, and pass the state-administered licensing exam.
*If PA is your secondary license, you MUST join PAR!
Eligibility & Requirements: Real Estate Salesperson License by the Standard Method
Real Estate Salespersons may be granted licensure by the standard method once they have completed and passed both portions of the Salesperson Examination. Real Estate Salespersons who have held an active salesperson license in another state within the last five years do not need to complete the General/National portion of the examination in order to be eligible for licensure in PA. However, all applicants by the standard method must contact Pearson Vue prior to applying for licensure in order to register for, sit for, and pass the examination relevant to the license they seek. Please visit the Helpful Links section of this guide for the link to Pearson Vue website, where you must register. Before registering for the exam, make sure you meet the education requirements.
To qualify to sit for the examinations, applicants must complete 75 hours (5 credits) of basic real estate courses from an accredited college or an approved real estate education provider in this Commonwealth. Courses must have been completed within 5 years prior to the date of successful completion of the licensing examination. You may also qualify if you received a bachelor’s degree with a major in Real Estate from an accredited college, a juris doctor degree from an accredited law school, or completed 75 hours of pre-licensure coursework in another state or other jurisdiction that was approved to meet the requirements for licensure in that state or other jurisdiction. Please read section 35.272 of the Real Estate Commission regulations for all information about educational requirements.
If you are currently licensed in another state and wish to be licensed in Pennsylvania, you must first contact Pearson Vue to register to sit for the Pennsylvania State portion of the examination only. You must first meet the educational requirements outlined in section 35.272 of the Real Estate Commission regulations. Once you have passed the PA State portion of the exam, you are able to apply for licensure.
If you have never been licensed in any state or jurisdiction, you must complete the education requirements as outlined in section 35.272 of the Real Estate Commission regulations before registering for the exams. Please read the full section of the regulations for all information about educational requirements. Once you have passed both portions of the exam you may apply for licensure.

Education’s complete! Now what?
Finish both courses. Pass both course tests.
Use the transcript you receive, and a designated form, to apply for and take the state licensing exam.
The exam is offered at approved centers or via webcam proctoring.
It costs $49 every time to take the exam.
It consists of 120 questions divided into two sections. You have 3 hours to complete it. You must pass each section with a score of 75 or higher.
You’ll learn immediately at the testing center/online whether you passed or must re-take the licensing exam.
If you pass, you’ll receive a receipt. Keep it to claim your license.
Remember, you must pass a criminal background check to verify your license eligibility, and you must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
You must be affiliated with a real estate broker in PA who will serve as your legal supervisor so reach out to Shaina to get started!

FAQ:
Will you pay for me to get licensed?
I will not sponsor your license. You need to do it on your own. If you like to have things handed to you, this is not the right career path for you.
How much will I make as a network member?
You would be an independent contractor- how much you make is up to your ability to do the activities we tell you and do them well. There is no salary. Some opportunities to earn cash for showings etc. will be available.
What is the process to join?
Each individual will have a slightly different journey depending on their background. The best way to start is to schedule a phone call via Calendly with me.
I am an experienced agent, can I join?
Absolutely! After walking you through the onboarding process, I will customize a program for you if you are an experienced agent to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. I will connect you with who you need to know and provide guidance on setting up multiple streams of income. The Network offers great information to help grow your business and I will make sure you are tuned in to the important events and conversations that will help you grow your business.
