Why You Should Live in Montgomery County, PA

There are plenty of reasons to live in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia but let’s take a look:

1. It's close to Philadelphia - You can be in the city in under an hour, which is great for those who want to live close to the action but not right in the middle of it.

2. There's a lot of history here - If you're into history, Montgomery County is the place for you. From the Battle of Valley Forge to Hope Lodge, there's a lot to learn about and explore.

3. The schools are great - both public and private schools in Montgomery County are highly rated, so you can be sure your kids are getting a great education. Lots of parks and local events to keep kids busy.

4. The food is fantastic - From local restaurants to chain favorites, you can find whatever you're in the mood for in Montgomery County. There is a variety of ethnic cuisine throughout the County to keep your tastebuds interested.

5. The people are friendly - You'll quickly find that the people in Montgomery County are some of the friendliest around. There is a strong sense of community to bring everyone together at the township level. There are so many cute towns to walk as well: Ambler, Jenkintown, Skippack, Conshohocken, Ardmore, and Collegeville to name a few.

6. Great parks - Love to walk in nature and breathe clean air? Montgomery County has great parks like Green Lane, Evansburg, Valley Forge, Fort Washington State Park, plus many township parks with playgrounds and picnic areas. It is nice to know that it will never be fully built up as the County and Townships make efforts to preserve land for generations to come.

7. Fun shopping - Whether you like little town shopping, pop-up markets, the outlets like in Limerick, malls like Willow Grove Mall or Montgomeryville Mall, or perhaps one of the largest malls in America: King of Prussia- there is somewhere for you to enjoy your shopping!
