What Vegans Look for In a Home

WHAT VEGANS LOOK FOR IN A HOME

The same goes for many vegetarians as well!

I cannot speak for all vegans, as each individual's wants and needs are unique. However, there are a few common features that many vegans may look for in a home:

  1. Kitchen: As a plant-based lifestyle often involves a lot of cooking and food preparation, a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space for kitchen tools, gadgets, and ingredients may be a priority.

  2. Sustainable and eco-friendly features: Many vegans are conscious of their impact on the environment, and may look for homes with features like solar panels, energy-efficient appliances, and eco-friendly building materials.

  3. Outdoor space: Having a yard or outdoor space can provide an opportunity to grow a vegetable garden, and may be especially important for vegans who prioritize access to fresh produce.

  4. Location: Living in a neighborhood with easy access to farmers markets, health food stores, and vegan-friendly restaurants may be important for vegans who prioritize a plant-based lifestyle.

  5. Non-toxic materials: Some vegans may be sensitive to chemicals, and may look for homes that use non-toxic building materials, such as low VOC paints and natural flooring materials.

Ultimately, each vegan's priorities and preferences will be unique, and may depend on factors such as their budget, lifestyle, and location.

As a Realtor who has been plant based the majority of her life, you can count on me to understand your needs when it comes to finding your next home!
